Challenge #58 diamonds

Here's my entry to the Diva's challenge this week, exploring diamonds for Penn State's Four Diamonds Fund. The Four Diamonds Fund was started by Charles and Irma Millard after their son, Christopher, lost his 3 year battle with cancer in 1972. Symbolic of the traits Christopher felt were needed to defeat cancer, he wrote a story in which the knight Sir Millard overcomes obstacles to achieve the four diamonds of Courage, Wisdom, Honesty and Strength.



I will also strive to achieve these four diamonds of Courage, Wisdom, Honesty, and Strength as I travel tomorrow to say my goodbyes to my brother who hasn't even the chance to battle his cancer.

    So sorry to hear about your brother. There is a sense of irony that this particular challenge was brought into your life at this time when you needed it, I hope it brought you comfort, in addition to the other qualities of the four diamonds.

    I am moved by your post and don't even have adequate words to express my response. I am sorry for what you and your family are going through, and hope that your time with you brother is fulfilling despite the circumstances. Wishing you and your brother comfort, peace, and quadruple diamonds.
