What a nice surprise. My sister emailed me telling me that I am in the Art Jewelry Magazine. Really? I looked at the photo she sent and it was an article by fellow CZT Susan Breen Silvy. She had written an article about designing jewelry with dye oxide patinas. She included a photo of a brooch she made inspired by my tangle pattern "Henna Drum". Wow! How awesome is that! I do thank Susan for crediting me, even though my name is spelled wrong and she didn't have my state (or she had but the magazine didn't print it). I will send an email to the magazine to set that straight, but WOW! I'm very excited. Tee hee. So, here's my Henna Drum pattern for you all to see and play with:
I hope you enjoy the pattern. It's a lot of fun to play with and has a nice delicate look to it.
Here is a bigger version so you can hopefully see the steps better:

very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat's super awesome! Congrats! Lovely tangle, too.
ReplyDeleteMost lovely can't wait to draw this in my daily sketch book practice. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo pretty! Is there any way we can see the step-by-step directions larger?
ReplyDeleteI love it, but I can't see the details on the step by step.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern, but it's hard to see, please make it larger.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice! I just blew it up in my browser to see the steps better. It came out a bit blurry, but I was still able to make it out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's just lovely, but, as others have said, it would be helpful to have it enlarged. When you get to be as old as I am, your eyes just don't work as well as they once did. It's a glorious design, so thank you for your contribution to the Zentangle lexicon!
ReplyDeleteOkay, folks? Let me work on that for you....... Soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat, Janee - I would love to see this larger too - looks like a FABulous tangle! Thanks for sharing! :)

I'm getting ready to teach the basics to 'my' kids, school age children I work with.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice, easy, flowing design that I think will encourage them when they get such good results.
