While I'm at it, here is the mini challenge with Laura's Versa tangle pattern. I used a tile that I was playing with inks with. I also messed up in a spot but I know you all don't care (that's why I love you all). I had fun with your versa tile, Laura. Thanks!
A place to share my musings. There are so many ideas around us and I try to play with the ones that tickle my fancy. Zentangle, needle felting, wet felting, garden art, photography, kayaking.

I walk the line______
Challenge #14 from Iamthediva. This week we're only drawing straight(ish) lines. I tried to stay away from tangles that started with straight lines but wasn't totally successful. I enjoyed this challenge a lot. I like the variations. I find myself thinking that I'm done and then notice the next day that I forgot the shading. Huh. I add the shading and then breathe a sigh of relief. Better. Funny how this has happened more than once. I wonder how long it will take me to figure out that I'm not done until the shading has been added.

I love the way you used curved tangles and made them straight lines. I love your tangle!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. I especially love the little flourishes on the right..... Nice composition. Congrats. Maria
ReplyDeleteIt's really a delight to look at. The floral design is really a nice focal point.
ReplyDeleteYour tangle is stunning!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love the flower tangle!
ReplyDeleteVery nice piece! I can relate to what you said about not knowing when you are done. I frequently find myself going back through my Zentangles to add or revise. I think it comes from developing our eye as we practice and learn. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I've been very impressed with the way everyone has taken curved patterns and made straight lines out of them.
