Watching for borders

Hiya folks!

This week's Diva Challenge is to look around and start noticing potential borders to tangle. I have an old mirror I got at a tag sale and wanted to use the frame as a tangle border. Here's the frame (sorry, I see that it's blurry):

It has an interesting pattern and I attempted to recreate it, zentangle style. Here's my attempt:

I might have to work on it a little more, but I do like the idea. We'll see where it gets me.
Earlier in the week I created the following tile, using Kuke:

I do like the boldness of it. It has a nice balance of black and white.

I wonder what next week will bring!

Tangle on......

  1. I like the bolness of Kuke too. The other is also very pretty.

  2. Both frames are great but Kuke is my fave. Congrats on page 141 in the new book!

  3. Wonderful tiles! I can´t decide for a favorite. Nicely done!

  4. I love both of your tiles.....the borders are intriguing!

  5. Looks like you did a great job recreating the frame! Both tiles are lovely!

  6. I am really enjoying your blog and have nominated you for the Liebster Blogging Award! Check out my blog for the 'rules'.
