So we survived Tropical Storm Sandy here in Vermont. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as last year's Irene. We lost our power last night around midnight and when I got home from work this afternoon I was pleasantly surprised with having power. Phew! There still is a windblown tree sitting on our wires but the power company has been contacted and when they can get around to it, I'm sure they will come. My heart goes out to the folks who lost their loved ones, homes, and businesses.
While the power was flickering yesterday, I started in on a tile and finally finished it today. The Diva Challenge was to use the new tangle pattern from Rick and Maria of Zentangle, Bunzo. The challenge for me was to figure out what to put with it. I'm satisfied with the Australian Helen Williams' Leaflet tangle (I really like that tangle and have been using it a lot lately).
Here's a tile I created using just the Leaflet tangle.
Have a wonderful week.
Like the use of leaflet behind bunzo
ReplyDeleteBunzo and leaflet combine very nicely.
ReplyDeleteI like the monotangle too.
Happy to read you are ok and thinking about the ones that aren't ...
I'm so in love with Helen's Leaflet--well, okay, I love everything by Helen! Haha! Great job on these!
ReplyDeleteBunzo goes very well with Leaflet. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteI think this is so good.
ReplyDeleteWow-- what a great combination of these two tangles. The heavy B&W Bunzo with the delicate and airy leaflet. Great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love how you have used leaflet with bunzo - great contrast with heavy/light as diana said. Your second tile looks wonderful, too!
ReplyDeleteSuper tiles, I also love everything Helen does, she is so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteWonderful combination of tangles Jane!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking tile. Leaflet in the second tile is brilliant too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely tile and I also like the use of leaflet. Well done.
