So I missed last week's Diva Challenge due to being too busy. End of the school year, starting up an online class with Joanne Sharpe, and the every day life. This week's challenge is to create a piece of work just doodling....NOT using Zentangle patterns. I've already been trying to do this with Joanne's class. You know what? It's hard! I just don't feel at peace, not grounded. Interesting. With Zentangle I can just think what I want to put in a section created by the string. With the doodle, I looked around me and came up with something from what I saw.
I finished this up during a break from TEDx presenters in Manchester, VT today. You can see the brick wall, the hubcaps, and some funky spiky grasses from my kayaking yesterday.
Here's some homework of mine from Joanne's Doodle Arts & Letters class, using doodles as much as I could:
A place to share my musings. There are so many ideas around us and I try to play with the ones that tickle my fancy. Zentangle, needle felting, wet felting, garden art, photography, kayaking.

Birds on a Wire Challenge
This week's Diva Zentangle Challenge #121: "UMT XVII: Birds on a Wire. Birds on a Wire. I love the name and also have thought about patterns when looking at a flock of birds sitting on a wire. I played around with it for a while and decided that I like it best when going in a spiral. A big thanks to Mary Kissel, CZT who came up with this pattern. Here's my tile:
I began this tile while teaching a couple of our teachers this week at school.
Have a wonderful week.
